MGCAA is a non-profit organization serving middle and the Heart Of Georgia. This position is a top management position. This position requires planning, directing, and coordinating the accounting process. This position is also responsible for banking, insurance, securities, and other financial activities of the organization and its affiliates.
- Certified Public Account or a Master’s degree desired. However, will consider, at a minimum, a baccalaureate degree in accounting, business, fiscal management or an accounting related field.
- Extensive experience working with a budget not less than $10 million
- Significant experience and knowledge of not-for-profit accounting and grant management compliance and various spreadsheets and accounting software. ● Must be a US citizen; have a Permanent Resident Card, or an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS) ● Must have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or for any crime against children
